The uplifting summer-tune caught the attention of Auckland based artist “La Felix”, who reached out with his own spin on the original. Inspired by artists such as Oliver Nelson, Louis The Child and NEIKED, the young artist has become a favorite among bloggers and online tastemakers, releasing his music via the notoriously picky label Kitsune as well as his own label. With a soft-pop twist, La Felix has created a chill, melodic remix of “Cold” driven by Sval’s catchy hook, the distinctive bass guitar riff, interesting rhythms and euphoric vocal-chops.
