As a producer on Pasha’s singles “I Don’t Speak French” and “Prettyboi Bounce”, the grammy-nominated artist Coucheron have already cooperated with his studio neighbor on solid bangers. Deciding to team up as equals on a new genre diverse mix tape, the guys decided to bring together Pasha’s playful 90’s sound with Coucheron’s innovative electronic pop music to create a vast and including soundscape. Already releasing the first two tracks off the compilation, “Nobody” and “Lighthouse” has already gained solid airplay and praise from tastemakers around the globe, building up quite the hype before their mixtape “G.O.L.” drops the fall of 2020.
With a summer tour planned, the duo gave a sneak peak of what to come while headlining this year’s By:Larm festival. Securing top reviews from with their highly engaging live set up, expectations are overwhelming when Coucheron and Pasha finally will be able to show the world the spectacular club show, though after the pandemic cools down.
As the first idea emerging from the creative trip, I SPY is a summery and psychedelic R&B track filled with interesting riffs, trap drums and floating vocals that can remind of a mix of Juice WRLD and Post Malone.
