About Artist

With his honest charm and unpolished atmosphere Oskar Nordbø delivers a unique mix of Folk, Indie Pop and Country. Inspired by heroes such as Bon Iver, Tallest Man On Earth and Phoebe Bridgers he brings arrangements with focus on guitar, beautifully carried by Oskars dreamy, unique voice. With catchy but honest, melancholic lyrics and melodies, Oskar can be described as an unique mix of Greg Holden and Oasis. 

In 2019 Oskar became a part of the Toothfairy family, and made national and international tastemakers such as Gaffa, Turkish Nordik Simit and Indie Vibes notice his creative talent. After playing gigs at Sofar Sounds, SALT and Musikkfest Oslo among others, releasing three singles and his EP “Prelude”, Oskar did not slow down on creativity and released his debut album late 2020. The album got strong reviews, and Aftenbladet described the album as “A unusually strong debut”. 

With his brand new album “The Dog-Headed Saint” released in February, his songs have received wonderful feedback from multiple parts of the world, with his featuring on Indie Folk Central and top tier reviews in various media.
