Ponette returns with big electro pop banger via NBHAP

” Now they’re finally back with their first outing of what is sure to be a big 2019 for the band ” – NBHAP

After working on new music the past year, Ponette is finally ready to release their new single “Meltdown” on the 10th of May. With a deep, dark electronic vibe and a catchy hook built around heavy synths, the new single explores the theme of feeling lost in a relationship. The kind where you stop feeling like your own person, and strive to be the glue in something that should have been lost long ago. It’s like being desperate and having an identity crisis, all mixed with new hope and a spark of life. The single will be released accompanied by a lyric video perfectly catching the dark and heavy vibe of the track. The video is made by Fabian Fjeldvik, Ben Olsen Johnsgård and Ponette. “Meltdown” is out now via Nothing But Hope And Passion!

Carl Louis returns with his own voice on “The Enemy”

Carl just kicked off his album run with the fast-paced track “The Enemy”. Centered around drums and Carl’s own vocals, the track has an epic, dark and warm feel. Perfectly accompanied by majestic strings, Carl’s first single is larger than life with a distinct, warm UK vibe.

For the first time in his career, Carl has added his own lead vocals to the mix, making him completely independent in his music process.

Ready to release his debut album this summer, the project inspired by the lighthearted and positive naïveté of swedish indie pop. Adding several new, rough elements to his recording process including guitars, live drums and his own vocals, gives this project a more organic and vivid feel compared to his earlier work. Carl’s new work expands his signature atmosphere and combines it with the sound of Swedish indie acts such as Peter, Bjorn and John, Miike Snow and Radio Dept., and inspiration from soulful acts such as Jungle, Moby and Massive Attack.
